Chip Bag Layout Guide

11 in × 8.5 in

This is the flat printable wrapper sheet. Proportions below are exact — the diagram is drawn directly from the locked measurements.

Gray top and bottom crimp bands 0.75 inches tall span the full width. Between them a 7 inch tall design band holds, left to right, a blue Back Left panel 2.875 inches wide, a light purple Front panel 5.25 inches wide, and a blue Back Right panel 2.375 inches wide. A yellow glue strip 0.375 inches wide runs the full sheet height along the far right edge.TOP CRIMP · 11 in × 0.75 inBOTTOM CRIMP · 11 in × 0.75 inBack Left2.875 in × 7 inFront5.25 in × 7 inHERO ART + PRIMARY TEXTBack Right2.375 in × 7 inGLUE AREA · 0.375 IN11 in wide8.5 in tall

The panels run Back Left → Front → Back Right, and the Back Right panel runs directly into the 0.375 in glue strip locked at the far-right edge. Important hero graphics and primary text belong inside the Front panel — the dashed line marks a 0.25 in safe margin away from glue and crimp zones.

Your design brief stays on this device until you create your prompt. Your first complete prompt is free with an account.

Help

Good to know

A few answers about the wrapper geometry and what happens to your design brief.

Creating With TUC
Why are the wrapper measurements locked?
The 11 in × 8.5 in sheet, the 0.75 in crimp bands, the three panels, and the 0.375 in glue strip match how a printed wrapper folds and seals around a standard bag. Changing any of them breaks the fold.
What should go on the front panel?
Your hero title, main subject, and the artwork you want people to see first. Keep it centered with a quiet margin so nothing important lands in the crimp or glue zones.
What do I do with my prompt?
Copy it and use it with the AI image generator of your choice to bring your chip bag design to life.
Do you keep my details?
No. In this phase everything stays in your browser — your brief is never uploaded and nothing is saved when you close the tab.
